Something strange has happened in the last few weeks. People have started to violently hate me. I know this because they tell me on the internet. At first, I thought it made sense. A friend of my ex took issue with some of my venting, and I can understand that. I don't hold any ill will, but I was a little shocked that they went out of their way to tell me that I'm a total douche. Whatever. Tonight however, Pete from Russia told me I'm "pathetic" because I "incite contention". How are these people finding me? Why do they care what some random dude they've never met thinks? How does me being happy with the results of 4 basketball games warrant throwing the f-bomb my way? And why am I still smiling? Probably because it just doesn't matter. :-)

no, the "gay joke" comment was me calling out what I thought he would do next because I said he was making me a happy man. I don't think sexual orientation has anything to do with anything in this.
if that's how you feel, I'm sorry. My comment to Pete was "I know you're going to make a joke about how I'm gay because I said that you're making me a happy man", and I don't think there is anything offensive about that at all. If anything, I was taking the steam out of his engines by saying that. Again though, if that's how you feel, then alright.

I gotta say I love your blog. I came across your blog when I saw you were dating a girl I knew. And even when i read your "vent blog" I thought you had every right to write what you said. Some times you need to vent and you say stuff you don't mean to but people need to realize you're human and you have feelings to. Though I gotta say I hope the Celtics win :)
